MRPL Q2 net zooms 3470%

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) today said its net profit increased a whopping 3,470 per cent to Rs 331.74 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 9.29 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income, however, slipped by five per cent to Rs 7,678.97 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 8,070.36 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
