Minister inaugurates training programme of Infosys
Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minorities Welfare Minister Mohd Ali Shabeer today inaugurated a training programme designed by IT major Infosys to provide required training and also placement to students, coming out of educational institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was particular that students with rural background should be selected for the training programme.
The Minister, who also distributed laptops to the selected students, said the training programme spanned over six months. The successful candidates would be provided suitable placements in Infosys and other major IT companies, he added.
The Government would take care of food and accommodation facilities for the trainees.
Mr Shabeer said the State Urdu Academy would provide training in computer at the Haj House, exclusively to minority community students.
