Ipcs - Q2 net profit up 28.3%

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Pharma major Ipca Laboratories Ltd today said it has posted a net profit of Rs 45.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as increase of 28.3 per cent, as compared to Rs 35.4 crore for the same period a year ago.

Total Income of the company increased by 23.6 per cent to Rs 300.45 crore as compared to Rs 242.98 crore during the corresponding period in 2006, a company statement said.

Ipca Laboratories Ltd recently announced the launch of the country's first Etodoloc, called Etova, a new-generation pain manager.
