Explosives recovered in Gaya

Gaya, Oct29 (UNI) Police today recovered a large number of explosives near Ghurniaghar under Barachatti police station in the district.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Baliram Chaudhary said that acting on a tip-off, the local police raided a hideout at Majorahi village under Barachaatti police stationa and recovered 4,000 gelatin sticks, used in making bombs and other firearms.

However, the extremists managed to escape before the police raided the area. The Deputy SP has said the matter was being investigated.
