DGFT issues 'Special Import License' to Refex

Chennai, Oct 29 (UNI) Refex Refrigerants Ltd, the city-based leading refrigerants management solutions provider, has got a Special Import License from the Director General of Foreign Trade(DGFT).

A Company release here today said the license would enable the Company to import 2,000 MT of HCFC based Refrigerants.

The license also makes Refex one of the first importer of HCFC into India where the demand of HCFC was at its peak.

Refex Managing Director Anil Jain said ''import of these Refrigerants would increase our product line immensely''.

The license could generate an additional business of Rs 40 crore and add to the net profit about Rs eight crore over a time frame of eight to nine months, the release added.
