AIADMK workers stage demonstration

Thiruvallur, Oct 29 (UNI) Hundreds of AIADMK workers today staged a demonstration at Tiruttani in this district in protest against putting in cold storage two projects initiated by the previous AIADMK regime.

The agitators, led by former Minister Karur Chinnasamy, were up in arms against not taking up the Rs 513 lakh worth Arakkonam-Tiruttani drinking water project and Rs 73 lakh worth project to prevent water logging at a subway near the Tiruttani railway station entrance.
