Students from JK on Gujarat visit

Ahmedabad, Oct 28: Students from the trouble-torn state of Jammu and Kashmir, who have never been out of their homeland, arrived in Gujarat as part of 'Operation Sadbhavana Educational Tour' organised by the Indian Army.

The group of 22 students, of 9th and 12th standards, along with their teachers and parents met Gujarat Governor Naval Kishor Sharma and presented him a Kashmiri shawl. Mr Sharma congratulated the army for organising such an event.

The itinerary of the students included Gandhi Ashram, Science City and zoo in Ahmedabad, Reliance Petrochemical Refinery and INS Valsura in Jamnagar and Sardar Sarovar Dam in Narmada district.
