Six STF jawans suspended in Munger

Munger, Oct 28 (UNI) Six Special Task Force (STF) jawans, posted at Kharagpur in Munger district, were today supsended, following their irresponsible behaviour, including eve teasing.

Superintendent of Police Salim here said all the suspended STF jawans were accused of clashing with CRPF personnel and misbehaving with the common people in drunken state during the Vijayadashami Mahotsav, following which, departmental porceedings had been initiated against them.

Besides the six jawans, officer-incharge of the Bariyarpur police station Gautam Kumar was also recalled for helping a rape-accused by destroying the evidences, Mr Salim added.
