Shahrukh Khan summoned

Shahdol, MP, Oct 28: A local court has issued summons to Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan for appearance on December 11 in connection with advertising for a special brand of foreign liquor. Hearing a complaint by local resident Vinod Kumar Tripathi, Chief Judicial Magistrate Dipesh Tiwari issued summons to the actor and the company's General Manager yesterday.

Mr Tripathi had raised objections to Khan advertising for a liquor brand and appearing in a poster despite a ban on advertising for liquor.
