NSCN-IM denies hand in Pangchau ambush
Kohima, Oct 28 (UNI) The proscribed NSCN-IM today denied any hand in the ambush at Pangchau village under Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district, where three Assam Rifles personnel along with a civilian were killed on Thursday last.
The outfit in a release issued here clarified that it would never stoop low to attack the security forces.
It also mentioned that the outfit was concerned about the successful conclusion of the Indo-Naga peace process and hence would never go for any such attacks.
Stating that it had signed the Geneva Call Deed of Committment for not using anti-personnel mines, the NSCN-IM said the Pangchau ambush is to be brought within the anti-personnel mine and urged the Nagaland government to track down the real culprits.
