Ajmer, Oct 28 (UNI) Congress general secretary and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today termed the Left' opposition to the Indo-US Nuclear deal as ''unreasonable'' and said the Manmohan Singh Government was capable of sustaining even without their support.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Singh said the Prime Minister had given due hearing to objections and concerns of Left parties over the nuclear deal issue and addressed through consensus, nine points raised by them.

Despite this, persistent opposition to the deal was unreasonable.

He said Manmohan Singh Government would complete its full term in the office even without the Left parties' support.

''We have got other options too for garnering majority,'' he added.

Praising the government's efforts for reaching the deal with the US with full safeguard to national interests, Mr Singh alleged that conditions in the draft being considered by the previous A B Vajpayee Government was even more rigourous for the country.
