Fill up vacancies in govt dept: Employees Association
Tiruchirapalli, Oct 28 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government Anganwadi Employees Association today urged the state government to fill up the existing junior assistants vacancies in the government departments with qualified persons working in anganwadi centres.
In a release here, Association President M Karuthamuthu said many anganwadi employees were possessing even Post Graduate degrees.
While thanking Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for establishing Separate Directorate for the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS), the Association appealed to him not to entrust other department jobs to anganwadi employees.
He also urged the Chief Minister to sanction Rs 2,000 to employees as advance to Deepavali festival.
