Yesterday, the ultras had killed altogether 18 persons, including former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi's son, at Chilkhari village in Giridih district.
Latehar Superintendent of Police Ravikant Dhan said all the four deceased were abducted and then gunned down adding that the incident was an outcome of rivalry between two proscribed outfits- CPI(Maoist) and Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC).
''The ultras have left a pamphlet alleging that the deceased had association with TPC members,'' Mr Dhan said.
Police said the bodies were identified and have been sent for postmortem.
