Boy wounded in shootout by armed naxals in Ghatsila

Jamshedpur, Oct 28 (UNI) A teenaged boy was wounded today in firing by armed naxals at Musaboni under Ghatsila police station in East Singhbhum district.

The boy was going with his sister-in-law when he saw four Maoists in the nearby jungle, police said.

On seeing the armed rebels, they immediately retreated but the naxals opened fire. The boy received bullet injuries in his waist.

He has been rushed to Tata main hospital here in a critical condition.

The naxals fled immediately after the incident.

Police launched a combing operation to nab the ultras.
