Second 'Croma' store launched in Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct 27 (UNI) The second store of 'Croma', a chain of stores for multi-brand consumer durables and electronic goods within Navi Mumbai, was inaugurated by Tata Sons Director Arun Gandhi here today.

In the new store, 2,000 products ranging from DVDs to refrigerators and iPODS are on display in the 20,000 sq ft floor space, manned by a staff of 70 employees.

''Our customers are from across the whole income range, and we plan to add the kitchen range by March next year,'' Marketing and Sales Head Sumit Sahay said.

The store will also launch a number of promotional undertakings like discounts till December.

'Croma' chain of stores belongs to Infinity Retail, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. The newly opened store is the sixth in Mumbai with two stores each in Pune and Ahmedabad. The chain also has technical collaboration with Australia-based Woolworth's.
