Missionary institutes remain closed to protest attack on nuns

Indore, Oct 27 (UNI) Missionary educational institutes today remained closed to protest attack on nuns by an irate mob outside a house in Bhagirathpura area here, police said today.

''A group of nuns was attacked by an irate mob on the suspicion of abetting religious conversion. The nuns were engaged in prayers at the house of their driver on Thursday, when they were called out and attacked,'' City Superintendent of Police G P Parashar said.

A case was registered in connection with the attack on nuns, while the conversion charge was also being probed, Mr Parashar said.
