Logitech launches home entertainment products

Mumbai, Oct 27 (UNI) Logitech, global leaders in personal peripherals for PC, launched an array of home entertainment products for 'digitalized' homes here.

The standout among the products launched yesterday is 'Harmony', an internet connected home entertainment remote control system that is capable of controlling over 1,75,000 devices from 5,000 manufacturers. Though using complex data base, the device itself is simple to use even for people who are not savvy with the Internet or complicated electronic systems.

Next is the 'Squeezebox', a wireless music player for the personal computer (PC), MP3 and digital music files, internet music stations and podcasts.

Following them are 'Audio Station' - a table top stereo system for iPODS, wireless system to connect the PC and stereo, portable speakers and noise-cancelling headphones.

Founded in 1981, Switzerland-based Logitech's range of products includes keyboards, mice, gaming consoles and webcams as well as audio devices for MP3, iPod, and mobile phones. It has recently entered the home entertainment market.
