Drop in minimum temperature, chill likely to return

New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) The maximum temperature in the national capital today rose slighty even as weathermen forecast a return of chilly weather over the weekend.

The maximum temperature remained one degree above normal at 32.7 degrees.

The minimum, which dropped from 18.8 degrees yesterday to 17.5 degrees today, was the normal temperature at this time of the year.

Weathermen have forecast that chilly weather is likely to return over the weekend with the minimum temperature likely to dip to 17 degrees Celsius tomorrow.

The Met department has also forecast a drop in maximum temperature to 32 degrees.
