Dearness Allowance given to labours hiked in UP

Kanpur, Oct 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has hiked the Dearness Allowance of Labourers.

UP Labour Commissioner Gajendra Pal today said here ''the increament would be applicable from October 1 till March 31 for the labours, who are working in 59 types of institutions like petrol pumps, clinics, carpet making etc.'' The mothly dearness allowance of unskilled labour has been hiked from Rs 298.85 to Rs 356.13, which would be given along with the monthly wage of Rs 2600.

The semi-skilled labour will now recieve mothly dearness allowance of Rs 405.98, which was earlier Rs 340.69. Their monthly wage stands at Rs 2964.

While, the monthly dearness allowance of skilled labour has been hiked from Rs 450.64 to Rs 378.16, which would be given along with the monthly wage of Rs 3290.
