37 polling booths declared ''very sensitive'' in Una

Una, HP, Oct, 27 (UNI) Thirty seven polling booths have been declared as ''very sensitive'' and 85 as ''sensitive'' in Una district out of the total 410 polling booths to be set up for the coming Assembly elections in the state, Additional District Magistrate, Una, R S Rana said today.

He said the first round of training for the polling staff will be conducted from November 13 to 17, second round from 6 to 10 December and the final round on December 16.

Mr Rana said adequate arrangements will be made to ensure security at all the polling stations.

Later, the ADM presided over an all-party meeting at Bachat Bhawan here and appealed to all political parties to observe the provisions of the model code of conduct.

The office-bearers representing the BJP, Congress, BSP and the CPI(M) attended the meeting.
