37 polling booths declared "very sensitive" in Una

Una, Oct, 27 (UNI) Out of a total of 410 polling booths to be set up in Una district for the coming Assembly elections, 37 have been declared as 'very sensitive' and 85 as 'sensitive', said Additional District Magistrate Una R S Rana here today.

He said the first round of rehearsals for the polling staff will be conducted from 13 to 17 November, second round from 6 to 10 December and final round on 16 December.

Mr Rana said adeaquate arrangements will be made to ensure security at all the polling stations.

Later, presiding over an all-party meeting at Bachat Bhawan here, the ADM appealed to all the political parties to observe the provisions of the model code of conduct.

Office bearers representing the BJP, Congress, BSP and CPI(M) attended the meeting.

Mr Rana informed that pasting or displaying posters, banners and other election material on government premises and on private premises without permission was an offence.
