Dera Chief granted bail

Ambala, Oct. 25, 2007 : A CBI court in Ambala, today granted bail to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda sect chief, accused of rape and murder.

Earlier the court on October 20 had extended his interim bail hearing till October 25. The Baba is accused of the murder of a driver and a journalist, besides a case of sexual harassment of a woman disciple. Meanwhile, the CBI has transferred all the three cases against the sect chief to a session court.
