L&T Q2 net up 73 pc at Rs 348.02 cr

New Delhi, Oct 26: Engineering and construction major Larsen&Toubro Ltd (L&T) has posted a net profit of Rs 348.02 crore for the second quarter ended September 2007, an increase of 72.9 per cent as compared with Rs 201.22 crore during the same quarter last fiscal.

Company's total income for the quarter rose by 43.2 per cent to Rs 5,523.27, as compared to Rs 3,856.52 crore for same period in 2006, a company statement said.
