Lady doctor among six killed in Kashmir accident
Srinagar, Oct 26 (UNI) Five people, including a lady doctor, were killed and four others wounded when their vehicle collided with a fast moving Army truck near Qazigund in south Kashmir's Anantnag district this morning, official sources said.
Out of the five dead, four were identified as Dr Shamima Yousuf, Fareeda, Ghulam Hassan Ganie and Fayaz Ahmed Mir, they added.
The sources said the identity of the fifth deceased was being ascertained. The injured were rushed to a hospital.
In another accident, an autorickshaw hit and wounded three pedestrians at Drangbal in Pampore area of Pulwama district. They were shifted to the Sub-District Hospital Pampore, where a woman, Azi Begum, succumbed to injuries.
