Investors meet begins

Indore, Oct 26: Marking a turning point in the development of mineral-rich Madhya Pradesh, a two-day global investors meet took off to a colourful start here today with its formal inauguration by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

About 400 investors from the country and abroad are attending the meet, targetted to rope in investment of nearly Rs 1,00,000 crore, half of which from Reliance's Anil Ambani group.

Mr Anil Ambani set the ball rolling making a courtsey call on the Chief Minister this morning at a city hotel promising investment in power, cement, technical education and BPO sectors in the state, official sources said.
