Machilipatnam, Oct 26 (UNI) Communist Party of India (Marxist), CPI(M), Central Committee Member P Ramaiah today demanded the Andhra Pradesh Government to constitute a nodal agency to utilise Plan Outlay Funds under Scheduled Caste (SC) Component Plan and Tribal Sub Plan.

Talking to UNI here, he said due to non-utilisation of funds, about Rs 10,000 crore had been diverted for other purposes during the last seven years.

Every year, the Government had been allotting a plan outlay of 16 per cent for SC Component Plan and six per cent for Tribal Sub Plan, he said. However, the funds had not been spent for their devlopment, he added.

He also said the Government should release Rs 3,000 crore without delay for Plan Outlay during this financial year.
