SRP jawan attempts to commit suicide

Junagadh, Oct 24: A SRP jawan who had shot dead two of his colleagues and injured six others on September 10 at Gadu village in Maliya-Hatina tehsil, today attempted to commit suicide in the jail here.

Mohammad Iqbal Ansari slashed his wrists and legs this morning. He was rushed to the civil hospital here, where his condition is stated to be stable. A case of attempted suicide has been filed against Ansari, police said.
