HP introduces new software to reduce business risks

Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) HP today introduced an enhanced software that will help IT organizations monitor and manage business services to mitigate business risks and reduce the potential costs of service downtime.

The newly enhanced HP Business Service Management (BSM) solution combines industry-leading application, infrastructure and network management software to help customers manage the over all health of their business services. It does this across networks, servers and applications, while linking infrastructure performance to end-user monitoring and process automation.

''IT organisations are under increasing pressure to reduce costs and align services more closely with business needs. To meet these challenges, organizations need to monitor, optimize availability and performance of key business services,'' HP Software India Executive Director T Srinivasan said.

''HP Software's BSM solution helps IT ensure integrity of strategic business processes by monitoring end-to-end health of business transactions by enabling visibility into the health and detailed status of business transactions,'' Mr Srinivasan added.
