Analog Devices opens second development centre

Bangalore, Oct 25 (UNI) Analog Devices Inc, a global leader in high-performance semiconductors for signal processing applications, today announced the opening of its second development facility in Bangalore.

The facility was a part of the ongoing expansion of Analog Devices in India and help the Company to further develop on its core strengths such as Analog IC design, high-speed DSP IC design and multimedia embedded software. The new office was inaugurated by the Company Vice President (R and D) Samuel H Fuller.

Commenting on the inauguration of its second office, Mr Fuller said ''India's role in Analog Devices' global strategy is increasingly becoming crucial and the India Development Centre is considered as the global lead centre of excellence for a variety of core technologies and products. The new development centre is a reiteration of Analog Devices' commitment to India and we will continue investing in the growth of our employees here.'' Over the last ten years Analog Devices had built a world class development centre here, carrying out complete product development.

The new facility was equipped to accommodate 130 engineers and aligned with the expansion strategy of the Company.
