Vamping guitars for world record

Shillong, Oct 24, 2007: After having entered its name in the Guinness World Records for the maximum number of drummers playing at a single event during the Autumn Festival in 2006, The Scotland of the East, Shillong is all set to string into the same record book once again with nearly 2000 guitarists vamping together at one go.

The notable event is organised by Sur Sandhan, a musical group that wishes to reform the society through music and is sponsored by Meghalaya Tourism.
