US Treasury Secretary will travel to India this week end

Washington, Oct 24 (UNI) US Treasury Secretary Henry M Paulson will travel to India this week to meet with government officials, including Chief Minister of West Bengal Buddhadev Bhattacharya and other business leaders.

He will be in Kolkata on October 28 to have discussions with the Chief Minister and local business leaders.

The Secretary will also be attending a conference on infrastructure in Mumbai and participate in a discussion at the Fortune Global Forum in New Delhi on 'India 's rise as an important player on the global economic stage'.

He will travel to Mumbai where he will deliver remarks to the US-India CEO Forum Infrastructure Conference and meet various officials including the Governor of Reserve Bank of India Y V Reddy and Chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India M Damodaran.

In New Delhi he is likely to meet with various leaders of the government lincluding the Finance Minister P Chidambaram.
