Jhansi, Oct 24: Unidentified assailants hacked to death a seventy-year-old woman and her daughter in Seepri bazaar area here, police said today.

Chiraunji (70) and Rani Yadav (40) were attacked with a sharp edged weapon late last night and both died on the spot The reason behind the double murder, however, was yet to be ascestained. Investigations were underway.
