Power minister raids factory involved in power theft

Bareilly, Oct 24 (UNI) A plywood factory, allegedly involved in power theft, was raided today.

Uttar Pradesh power minister Ramvir Upadhyay led the raid team.

Factory owner Tushar Chandra was nabbed and slapped with a Rs 20 lakh penalty, sources said.

Besides, two assistant engineers had been suspended with immediate effect for laxity.
