NALCO Q2 net profit dips 26.09% at Rs 439.73 cr

New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) State-run National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) today reported a 26.09 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 439.73 crore in the second quarter ended September 2007 against Rs 595 crore during the same period a year ago.

Total income has decreased from Rs 1,543.05 crore for the quarter ended September 2006 to Rs 1,472.54 crore for the quarter ended September 2007, a statement said.
