Medical facilities will be improved in Palamu: Shahi

Latehar, Oct 24 (UNI) Jharkhand Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Shahi today said about Rs 60 crore would be spent to improve medical facilites in the Palamu commisionary area.

After inagurating a 100-bed hospital here, Mr Shahi said people had grievances about lack of medical facilites in the area.

Consequently, the state government would strengthen the department's infrastructure in Palamu, Garwah and Latehar districts, he added.

Mr Shahi said, ''the state government would also build houses for doctors posted at the health sub-centres in rural areas.'' UNI
