KSRTC earn revenue over Rs 75 lakhs during dasara

Mysore, Oct 24 (UNI) State-owned Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) had earned a revenue of over Rs 75 lakhs. More than 2.5 lakhs people have utilised its services during the ten day dasara festivities which concluded here on October 21.

KSRTC Divisional Controller (Urban) P Ashok Kumar said that the KSRTC had registered a revenue of Rs 75 lakhs this year comapred to Rs 50 lakhs last year.

In all 1.50 lakhs people utilized the services from other parts of the district in the state while one lakhs commuters opted for KSRTC bus services from other states. More than 600 special trips between Mysore and Bangalore were undertaken besides special package tours organised during the dasara period by the KSRTC, he added.
