"It is good to go for Elections": Jaffer Shariff

Mysore, Oct 24 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister C K Jaffer Shariff today opined that it is better all political parties to go for elections then joining hands with Janata Dal (Secular) and form coalition government in Karnataka.

Terming reports about JD(S) trying to join hands with Congress for forming coalition government again, as rumours, he said that however, the final decision on the issue of forming coalition government was left to High Command Sonia Gandhi.

When his attention was drawn about Senior JD(S) leader M P Prakash meeting Congress leaders in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Shariff said that he was not aware of the meeting and hence don't want to discuss.
