Indian Embassy in Thailand outsources visa service
Bangkok, Oct 24 (UNI) The Indian embassy in Thailand today launched an Indian visa application centre run by a private service provider.
With this service, Thailand nationals and people of other countries living here would not have to take India's permission to enter the embassy.
The India Visa Application Centre in Bangkok would process visa applications within 24 hours and levy a processing charge over the normal visa fee charged by the embassy.
Visas would be issued free of charge to Buddhist monks The visa service has been outsourced to expedite the issuing, collection and delivery of visas, the embassy said.
