Farooq Abdullah demands financial help for Margi fire victims

Jammu, Oct 24 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah today demanded a special financial aid for the people at remote Margi village in Kishtwar who lost their abodes to the devastating fire on Monday night.

''The NC high command has asked the state government to assess the losses on priority and provide adequate relief to the fire victims,'' party sources told UNI.

Expressing his sympathies to the fire victims, the former chief minister demanded immediate measures to be taken for the rehabilitation of affected people.
