Appointment of 20 civil judges challenged

Allahabad, Oct 24 (UNI) The appointment of 20 civil judges (junior division) made by Public Service Commission (PSC) has been challenged in the Allahabad High Court.

The writ petition, challenging the appointment and selection of 20 civil judges, was filed by Sanjay Kumar Singh and 10 others.

The counsel appearing for the petitioners had pointed out to the court that selection of all 20 civil judges was contrary to the mandate of Supreme Court.

The HC will hear the case on October 26.
