Wild bear injures woman in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 23 (UNI) A wild bear attacked and wounded a woman in south Kashmir district of Anantnag today.

Police said the bear attacked and injured Shameema, at Hutmura in Mattan area of Anantnag district.

She was hospitalised.

Meanwhile, eight cows and a bull were charred when a cowshed belonging to Ghulam Mohammad Tantray caught fire at Chotiwari Machil in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, police added.

The cause of the blaze was being ascertained.
