Two killed by Jagan dacoit gang

Dholpur, Oct 23 (UNI) Two persons were killed and three others injured when members of the notorious dacoit Jagan's gang fired indiscrimeantly in Bateshwar village in this district early today.

A Police Spokesman said Jagan accompanied by his two borthers stormed into Daulat Gujjar's house in the village around 0400 hrs early this morning and resorted to indiscriminate firing which left late Daulat's widow Mahaviro Devi and one Ram Pratap dead and three others injured.

Earlier, Jagan had killed Daulat Gujjar in a similar raid about three years ago.

Old enmity was said to be reason behind the killings.

Jagan Dacoit had been active in the district and adjoining areas for long and carries a cash reward of Rs 35,000 on his head.

The police had launched a massive search.
