Two arrested with charas worth Rs two lakh

Dehradun, Oct 23 (UNI) Police today arrested two people with 1.5 kg of charas worth Rs two lakh in the international market in Nainital district of Uttarakhand.

SO Thana Tallital Mahesh Chandra told UNI that on a tip off, Mohan Singh, a resident of Nakhuwakhal, and Ravi Kumar Sonkar from Aloo Khet were arrested at Bhawali from a bus they were travelling in. Charas, weighing 1.5 kg, was recovered from their possesion.

Both of them have been booked under 18/20 NDPS Act and sent to jail, Chandra said.
