TTD to hold meet on cows

Tirupati, Oct 23 (UNI) To protect and propagate religious concepts on the holy cow and popularise research on indigenous breeds, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and Chennai-based Sri Bhashyakara Charitable Trust would be hosting a two-day 'National Seminar on GoMaatha' here from December one.

The main objective was to deliberate on all issues concerning the spiritual, social, economic and scientific aspects of cows and prepare a road-map for their protection.

Expert veterinarians, Self Help Groups, feature writers besides progressive farmers and represenatives of 'Goshalas' and 'Panchagavya Kendras' would participate and present papers.
