Bangalore, Oct 23 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Sravanabelgola 7.

Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Honavar, Bhagamandala, Madapura, Kottigehara, Ballupet, Sakleshpura, C.R.Patna 5 each; Subramanya, Banavasi, Kumta, Bhadravathi, Mudigere, Hallimysore, Sargur, Huliyurdurga 4 each; Puttur, Bhatkal, Hanumasagar, Tavaregere, Kushtagi, Kammardi, Tarikere, K.R.Pet, Pandavapura, K.R.Sagara, Srirangapatna, Nagamangala, Malavalli, Maddur, Hassan 3 each; Belthangadi, Dharmasthala, Sulya, Karkala, Sirsi, Siddapura, Deodurg, Manvi, Lingasugur, Sindhanur, Hangal, Ponampet, Somwarpet, Talaguppa, Arasalu, Thirthahalli, Soraba, Anavatti, Kalasa, Chikmagalur, Konanur, Holenarsipura, Periyapatna, Hunsur, K.R.Nagara, Mysore, Bandipura, Kollegal, Mandya, Basaralu, Magadi, Ramanagara 2 each.

Maximum temperatures rose at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded maximum temperature of 34.3 degree celsius and Mysore recorded minimum temperature of 17.6 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.
