Septuagenarian IUML leader weds again

Kozhikode, Oct 23 (UNI) Septuagenarian Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) Kerala State President Panakkad Syed Muhammadali Shihab Thangal married Ayishabi (45), a divorcee, at a private function here.

The function which was held on Saturday at the bride's residence at Chaliam, near here, was attended by close friends and relatives.

The formal 'Nikkah' was held before the holy month of Ramzan, sources said.

Mr Thangal's first wife Shareefa Fathima Beevi died last year when he was undergoing treatment in the United States. He has has three daughters and two sons.
