Patil, Ansari, Vajpayee, Advani greet Shekhawat on birthday

Jaipur, Oct 23 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice President Hamid Ansari, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani today greeted former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on his 85th birthday.

The President sent her greetings at Mr Shekhawat's residence in New Delhi while Mr Ansari sent a bouquet through an official here.

Mr Vajpayee and Mr Advani conveyed their greetings to Mr Shekhawat over telephone, a spokesman for the Vice President's office said.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala were among a large number of dignitaries who greeted Mr Shekhawat on his birthday.
