MoU signed on river tourism in Northeast
Agartala, Oct 23 (UNI) River cruise organisers Alfresco and public relations agency Cabsford have joined hands to promote river tourism in the Northeastern states.
A Cabsford release said here today that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two companies aboard a river vessel - Alfresco - on the Brahmaputra river.
The main objective of the MoU would be to promote river tourism in the NE in order to attract both domestic and overseas tourists and provide them wholesome avenues for enjoyment, entertainment and learning, besides evolving definite schemes for generating increased revenue and employment opportunities through river tourism, the release added.
