Moily to discuss appointment of APCC chief
Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary in-charge of party affairs in Andhra Pradesh M Veerappa Moily will arrive here tomorrow on a three-day visit to the State to discuss the appointment of state party chief.
Soon after his arrival, Mr Moily would attend the APCC Executive Committee and District Congress Committee Presidents' meeting.
Later, he would also attend the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting, according to party sources here.
Mr Moily would inaugurate the Tadipudi Lift Irrigation Project at Tadipudi in West Godavari district and interact with ayacutdaars on October 25. On the same day, he would inaugurate the Rajiv Gruhakalpa Housing Scheme and interact with beneficiaries in Peddapuram and lay the foundation stone for a bridge across river Vriddha Gowthami at G Moolapalem in East Godavari district.
He would lay the foundation stone for a rail overbridge at Rajahmundry, unveil the statues of late Prime Ministers Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi in the town and inaugurate a BC hostel.
Mr Moily, also the Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) Chairman, would wind up his visit by attending an ARC meeting here on October 26, before leaving for Delhi.
