MBBS student commits suicide

Muzaffarnagar, Oct 23 (UNI) An MBBS student today committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan in her hostel room under Mansoorpur area here.

Police said Megha Dutt was a first year student of Muzaffarnagar medical college situated on Delhi-Dehradun highway.

The deceased was a resident of Paschim Vihar, Delhi.

The body has been sent for a postmortem and her family has arrived here.

The reason for the act was not yet known. Investigations were on.
